Joseph Murphy of 5 Fitzgibbon St was arrested at about 20.00 just outside Mountjoy Prison and interrogated first in Mountjoy Prison on 29 May 1921, where he had been first taken, then at Royal Barracks. Murphy had on his person a number of incriminating articles, which led to his address being searched. His lodgings yieldedd a revolver and other arms
