Cornelius Gleeson shot by B Coy 22 May 1921

Strange case this one. A man was certainly shot that day, the British had a Court of Enquiry. However there is nothing in Witness Statements with a Con Gleeson. The family appear to be this one in the census in1911 and does not include a Cornelius, but the 1901 census does. Irish GRO does give the death of the rright age registered in Thurles. Shot by a B Coy patrol
