Capt Archibald Emmitt Balfour, QSA, RM

1879 Jun 8. Born St Peters South Australia. Son of John Aylmer and Margaret Balfour (nee Honman). His parents were married in 1876 in Paris. His father was a Civil Engineer and appears to have lived with his family in a number of countries ( Paris and in Australia (NSW) , Cape Province and Argentina). He was also a captain at some point in Bengal Lancers (family info). His older and younger siblings were born in: 1877 NSW, 1887 & 1888 Argentina.
