1920 Dec 20 Leaves UK on SS Kashgar bound for Singapore and North Borneo. He travels 2nd Class and is a "planter"

He is in North Borneo when he applies for his medals - the address is New Darvet Bay (Borneo) Tobacco Plantations

1925 on Australian Electoral roll at Tiaro, Wide Bay, Queensland (Binbirrim, Miva, a farmer). He is alone at that address

1929 marries Gladys Amy Wilson in Queensland

1936 on Australian Electoral roll at Wondai, Wide Bay, Queensland. (A farmer together with Gladys Amy Bardrick, at Gowlandlock, Goomeri)
