I cannot find a WO338 file nor any LG entries in WW1. He joins the Royal Navy as there is a reference at TNA But when he marries he is "late lieutenant RAF"

1920 Aug 13. Joins ADRIC with service no. 232 Posted to B Coy

1920 Sep 15. Posted to Bandon as Wireless operator. DI3

1920 Dec 1. Transferred to RIC as Permanent Cadet

1922 Apr 14. Pensioned from RIC
