1914 Sep 7. Enlisted in RE

1915 Aug 26. Lands Gallipoli

1918 Jul 23. Transferred to RAF

1919 May 6. Commissioned 2nd Lt and demobilised the same day.

1921 Jun 30. Joined ADRIC with service no 2086. Posted to L Coy

1922 Jan. 21. Discharged on demobilisation of ADRIC

1922 Mar 29. Joined the British Gendarmerie section of the Palestine Police as a Constable

1924 May 30 Leaves UK for Canada. With wife Roberta. He is a policeman. They are listed as Tenbroeke

1930 Jul/Sep Married in Malling, Kent to Annie M Keane

1939. Register Long Down Cottage, Kemsing with Annie McCartney ten Broeke. He is an Inspecting Engineer for the leak dept of an Oil Company

1940 Nov 4. The Buffs. The undermentioned to be Lt.:— 2nd Lt. James Arnold TEN-BROEKE (154621) to be 2nd Lt.

1944 Dec 5. The Buffs. War Subs. Lt. J. A. Ten-Broeke (154621) relinquishes his commn. on account of disability, and is granted the hon. rank of Capt.

1948 Jan 14. Leaves Southampton for Canada. He is a Mechanical Engineer. Travels alone. But wife given as Annie M

1950 Sep 22. Died Paddington aged 53.
