I cannot find his MM, I suspect he did win one that he claimed, and it would have had to have been between 11 Sep and 2 Nov 1914, but the name makes it difficult to find.

1878 May 11 at Liverpool. He gives 1881 to ADRIC, which is "norm" for men of that sort of age on joining ADRIC

1914 Nov 4. Commissioned 2nd Lt

1920 May 1. The undermentioned Lts. relinquish the actg. rank of Capt.. J. G-. Mills, on ceasing to be specially empld. with the R.A.O.C

1920 Oct 17. The undermentioned Lts. are placed on the h.p. list. J G Mills RFA

1921 Jun 18 . Joined ADRIC with service no 2060. Posted to R Coy

1921 Oct 1. Posted to Depot Coy

1921 Nov 26. Posted to H Coy and promoted Section Leader and CQM

1922 Jan 24 . Discharged on demobilisation of ADRIC

1935 Dec 12. James George Mills, Bathwick Hill, Bath was fined 10s. for exceeding the speed limit at Batheaston

1939 Died in Bath aged 59
