To establish who Taylor is requires a bit of digging. Charles Dewhurst Taylor Commissioned in R Lancaster Regt. Ancestry tree has that he emigrated to Canada about this time, and he does have a brother Edward P Taylor, Blundell travels to Canada with C D Taylor and gives cousin E P Taylor as next of kin. Blundell's mother was nee Margaret Anne Thompson, and Taylor's mother was nee Alice Rowe Thompson

1919 Mar 3. Service Battalions. The undermentioned Cadets to be temp. 2nd Lts. under the provisions of. the Royal Warrant dated 30 Dec. 1918, promulgated in Army Order 42 of 1919 :— R Lanc. R. - Charles Dewhurst Taylor. This meant that he was demobilised the day he was commissioned.
