Sub Lt Graham Tomson


I was initially unclear if there are 1 or 2 men with the ADRIC numbers 593 and 603. The entry in the Alphabetic register indicates that they are the same man. The entry for 593 is for this entry has him as "G Tomson" and a Sub Lt in RNVR - he joins 17 Sep 1920 and resigns 7 Jan 1921. The entry for 603 is for " Lt G R Thomson" joining on on 20 Sep and nothing else. The RIC entry has him as Graham Tomson. They are in fact two different men

Welsford, M.B.E., F.L.S., has been appointed by the Secretary of State for the Colonies, on the recommendation of Kew, as Mycologist to the Agricultural Department, Zanzibar, and Mr. Graham Tomson has been appointed Inspector of Plantations. "
