• Edwin Godwin # 74816 . His pension record does not show Palestine
• Edward A Goodwin # 79682 . The pension page is missing. He seems the more likely man

WW1 I cannot get his service

1921 Mar 12 enlisted in RIC as # 79682. ex-soldier & shop assistant

1921 Jun 5 posted Westmeath

1922. Mar 26 disbanded

1922 Mar 30. Enlisted in Palestine Gendarmerie as a Constable.

1925 Jun 19 Left UK for New Zealand

1926 married in New Zealand to Emily Elizabeth Beatrice Hales (1904–1984)

1966 Feb 25 died Auckland, NZ. A retired Mechanical Engineer
