1920 Feb 10. Gave evidence at trial of 9 IRA men in Adare. He had given a statement at Newcastle West RIC Barracks, but later rescinded it, and the case collapsed

1921 Oct 17 Having got a ticket to USA from his brother Joseph, Thomas leaves home without telling his parents
This article says he was abducted by the IRA in October 1921 and taken to Macroom where he was executed and buried in secret. But I can find nothing to substantiate that statement. There is nothing in Witness Statements nor anywhere else


1921 Oct 18 His compensation case heard at Limerick Quarter Sessions. He was apparently awarded £550 compensation by the court, but the money was never claimed. If his father's statement is correct, Thomas left home the day before the compensation case.
