1913 Jun 11. Joins White Star line as Officer Cadet

1913 Nov 19. Dismissed for "intemperance"

1914 Oct 4. Enlisted in RAMC. His wife Gladys

1914 Oct 12. Dismissed medically unfit. He had chronic dysentery.

1915 Jan to 1916 Feb Working on troop transports across the Channel

1916 Feb to 1918 Nov employed in an armaments factory

Served in Merchant Marine in WW1, but does not appear to have been commissioned into RNR. There is a Nat Arch file

1921 Jun 23. Joined ADRIC with service no. 2076. Posted to D Coy

1922 Jan. 21. Discharged on demobilisation of ADRIC

1924 Arrives New York from UK . Chief Officer on MV Scottish Maiden.

1932 Gets a new Seaman's Card . Grade MSS

1936 Apr/Jun died Wallasey, Cheshire age 54
