Correct MIC , but I cannot tie MIC address to any Clarke. However the 1939 man gives correct dob but 1879 (not 1886 as in RIC) at Greenwich. The balance of probability is that this is our man

1921 census shows a family called Short at Crooms Hill address on MIC. I can see no connection to him
