1924 Feb 7. He was posted to the Kite Balloon School at Lark Hill. He returned to flying Bristol Fighters in September of the year and went on to fly with 24 Squadron and 2 Squadron, the latter an Army Co-operation Squadron. Whist on this squadron he had his second crash
