1908 Apr Left HMS Conway to join SS Invercoe

1911 census. Neither boy is in it. Their mother is staying at Plymouth, Duke Of Cornwall Hotel. The father is a patient it what appears to be a small nursing home in Portland Place , London

1912 Oct 15. 2nd Mates Certificate

1914 Aug 10. Enlists in RND as an AB

1914 Dec 5. Officillly reported a POW. This is certainly our man

1918 Dec 30. Repatriated from Germany

1919 Feb 18. Demobilised
