Michael Angelo Sacheverell de la Pole Eldrid was a bank manager, living in Plymouth with his wife Laura Annie Stutely. They had four sons (Sacheverell Polo) Byron (Gisburn), (Henry) Vaughan (Poole), Peter M H and Melville (Kerson De La Pole), who, serving as a pilot officer, died in 1942.
