1921 Aug 30. Reverted to T/Cadet at own request and relinquishes the appointment of CQM

1922 Jan . Discharged on demobilisation of ADRIC

1925 Oct 26. Lt. Harold William Hartwell, late M.G. Corps, having been convicted by the Civil Power, is deprived of the rank of Lt. There was an Embezzlement case of Lloyds Bank v Hartwell in the Times, but no details were given. 6 months gaol for 3 sample charges of embezzlement, with 52 other charges taken into consideration

 

1939 Register. I suspect he is Harry W Parsons living at Micorbet Buttermere Avenue , Blackpool C.B., Lancashire,. He is a municipal surveyors assistant. The date of birth is correct, and that is the alias he used in Army - see MIC & above police report

1953 Jan/Mar Died Wellingboro. Aged 57
