No 24/779 served Western Front with the NZ Rifle Brigade

1917 Jun . MID citation. Sergeant 2nd Bn, NZRB. Bravery and fearless conduct during a raid south of Armentieres on the night of 7th January 1917. His courage and resource were an inspiration to the party and helped materially to made the raid a success. 19 prisoners being captured.
