1901 Census not in it. He had South Africa Medal so ought to have been there.

1919 Chief Officer MMR Frederick C Hopkins, Chief Officer. Princess Maud . Requisitioned by the Admiralty from 1916 to 1918. Reverted to civilian use in Feb 1918, and torpedoed in Jun 1918 . Of the crew of 29 only 5 were saved. (survivors include H W Black, )
1920 Dec 22. Joined ADRIC with service no 1310. Posted to M Coy
1922 Jan 19. Discharged on demobilisation of ADRIC
