1918 Jul 2. MC Citation. T./2nd Lt. Robert Nathaniel Kennedy, R. Ir. Rif. For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty in action. Under heavy fire he captured and killed several of the enemy. Although wounded he took part in an attack and commanded the company when the company commander was killed, causing the enemy many casualties in a counter-attack.
