He had 3 daughters, Margaret Philomena (Peggy), Maureen (or Maura) and Eileen around the beginning of the 1920s in Carlow. After James died, the family moved to mainland UK until 1939 / 40 when they emigrated to the US. his widow and Peggy remained in America but Maureen and Eileen returned to the UK.
