1915 Aug to Dec Commanded the Kings Liverpool Garrison at Peshawar, India

1916 to 1919 Commanded the Attached Section and Rest Camps at Bombay

1919 Award MBE for "accommodating very large numbers of troops at very short notice and making them comfortable, compatible with the circumstances. Also accommodating large numbers of POWs"

1921 Oct 31. Joined ADRIC with service no 2146. Posted to Depot

1921 Jan. Appears to be still serving on demobilisation of ADRIC

He then became the licensee of the Midland Arms Hotel, Hendon. 10 Church Road NW4 . It was rebuilt at some point and renamed Claddagh Ring in 1991

1932 Jul 1. I am fairly sure this is him - age is correct, and he was a Captain, "OBE" colour sergeant, worked in India

1939 Register. A still roundsman, single and with 27 years in the Army, 18 Capstone Road , Bournemouth
