1919 Dec 19. Arrive in New York. He gives his last address as his father's at D Warrior, 5 Lillington St, London. He says that he has been in the USA before 1910/1915 and intends to stay with a friend H J Chisholm at 200 Fifth Avenue, New York. He says that he intends to stay permanently in USA.

1920 USA census gives him as the Head Butler of Hugh Chisholm, living at 635 Park Lane, New York. He says he first emigrated to USA in 1910

1920 Sep 27 Arrives in Southampton from New York on the Aquitania. He is a "courier" age 46, traveling with his wife Helen (age 26). They are travelling 2nd class and their last country of permanent residence was USA
