Capt F B Young
No regiment.
- Only WO338 entry is a Lieutenant in "WA Reg" which could be West Africa.
- There is also a Capt Frederick Benjamin Young in Cheshire Regt (com 1892 & served in WW2), and from age cannot be our man.
- And a 2nd.Lt F B Young joined RFC as an Overseas entrant in 1917. Details of Frank Bennet Young are given , but he appears to be in Canada on 1 Jun 1921 for the Canadian Census. But our man could have managed that between Apr and Jun. However he was a qualified engineer and on balance would not have needed to join ADRIC
- And then there is Franklyn Boniface Young Born 28 Jul 1893 which would give the correct age of 27 on 4 April 1921. He only used the Frank when first enlisted but later used his real name of Franklyn Boniface Young
1893 Born (ADRIC age given)
1921 Apr 4. Accepted in England. Joined ADRIC with service no. 1879 . The register entry then says "Cancelled" and DRO also cancels his enrolment, so he never got to ADRIC
