1901 Feb 28 born Clare. I could not get his birth, even though he is in censuses.
Then I was contacted by a family member who told me "Patrick was born in the Ennis Workhouse on 14 Feb 1901 (or maybe 13 Feb 1901). His mother was Susan Murphy and his father is unknown. You can find the record here under Patrick Murphy: We believe the entry above for Patrick Walsh is likely also the same child - Susan Murphy was married at the time to a man named Thomas Walsh who had abandoned her sometime after their daughter Mary was born and emigrated to New York. We think Susan tried to obfuscate her circumstances when the birth was registered.
1901 census at Carrowmore North, Doonbeg, Clare. Was my assumption, but the family think this is wrong, and the Patrick and his mother were from a different Walsh family, and they could not find them in 1901 census
1911 census this family are still at Carrowmore North, Doonbeg, Clare. but the family can link him to 1911 census in England with his mother's second husband Patrick O'Loughlin and his half siblings. They are at York St, Wigan
1921 Feb 11 enlisted in RIC with # 78775. ex-soldier

1922 Mar 27 disbanded. He got a £50 per year RIC pension
1922 Mar 30 enlisted in Palestine Gendarmerie as a Constable. He puts his date of birth as 28 Feb 1901. He may not have known his correct date of birth
I cannot get his leaving the Palestine Gendarmerie. But he appears to have stayed in Palestine or Egypt and his death is there in 1942
1942 Feb 10 Died as a civilian and buried at: Alexandria (Hadra) War Memorial Cemetery , Egypt
