1911 census at Carrownagleeragh, Roscommon
1921 Apr 13. Died when accidently shot by S/L H Playle . Playle had left his Winchester Repeater in front of the tender. Vibrations from the engine caused the gun to fall over, this discharged a shot, and the shot killed Neary. Present also were S/L CVS Tessyman, T/C FS Robinson, T/C LE Lycett, T/C Davies and T/C FW Knight
