I cannot get his birth or censuses. Although there is a death of John Kenyon Parker, there is no birth nor censuses. ADRIC gives him as age 30 on joining. Also as Lieutenant in RE. The solving is via MIC and 1921 census. That is address of his sister Hannah Parker who married a Goodall. The Kenyon seems to be a random addition to his name when he became an oficer

1933 June . Following a case in Palstine when dogs were use for tracking, Sergeant John Kenyon Parker and Constable Alexander R. Pringle were dispatched to South Africa for a six-month dog-master training course. They returned to Palestine in December 1934 with three dogs named Gift, Mayer, and Ria. Initially employed to investigate agricultural crime, the Dobermans came to play a prominent role in policing Palestine during the Arab Revolt (1936–39). Though imported strictly for investigative purposes—not to furnish evidence— expediency led Palestine’s authorities to rely on dog tracking to justify extrajudicial action during the revolt
