I don't know which of these two is our man, and there is not enough evidence to separate the two - there is only a year in age and they both ere living in the same part of Liverpool. The ADRIC man was only a 2nd Lt, so it points to the man on the left, and that is my assumption. But I cannot get the census info without further assumptions.
If one assumes that his age on ADRIC is correct, then the man born in Liverpool is more likely than the one born in Cumberland
