1920 Aug 8 Joined ADRIC with service no 118. Posted to I Coy. (with J Coy when he applies for medals)

1921 Jan 9 T/C H W Barrett and T/C S E Strasman were wounded in an attack on an Auxiliary tender in Parliament Street, within a few yards of Dublin Castle.   Eight Cadets from "I" Company were in a Crossley Tender, when a man emerged from a side street and threw a bomb into the Tender.  Cadet H.W. Barrett, received six wounds in the lower part of the body and Cadet S.E. Strasman received two wounds in his legs.

1930 Jul 5. Lt. S. E. Strasman, from Supp. Res. of Off., to be Lt., with seniority 26th Mar. 1926

1964 Oct 16. Died Trowbridge, UK Aged 69 . Died as Stanley Edward Stratton according to Ancestry tree. Given his marriage to a Miss Lloyd this seems true from probate.He must have wanted to get away from the Germanic Strasman
