1911 census at 26 Powlett Road Bath. He is a "Grocer's Packer"

1914 Nov 7 Enlisted in 3rd Bat Welsh Regt

1916 Aug 4. Transferred to S Lancs Regt

1918 Aug 27. Commissioned. He had been in the South Lancashire Regiment as a Private

1919 Dec 12. Demobilised

1920 Sep 28. Joined ADRIC with Service No 639. he served with J Company based at Macroom Castle, Cork

This mug was auction in Dublin An extremely scarce mug engraved with A.D.R.I.C. crowned harp crest and "1920 F Coy Aux Division R.I.C. Lt. W. T. Toone S.L.I". With maker's mark of James Dixon and Sons, Sheffield and electro plated britannia metal markings. ged 80. Note the mug says F Coy and register says J Coy. This platoon was originally attached to F Coy and was transferred from F Coy to J Coy on 19 Nov 1920

1920 Dec 18. Somerset LI. The undermentioned temp. 2nd Lts. relinquish their commissions on completion of service, and retain the rank of 2nd Lt. : W T.Toone.

1939 Register at 62 Southdown Road , Bath.. He was a commission Agent Clerk, and living with wife Doris.

1975 Nov 25. He died in Bath aged 80
