1911 census, back with his parents at 5 Lillington Street Westminster S W London. He is a "domestic butler"

1911 Sep 6 Arrives in New York on SS Olympic from Southampton. He is a butler, his passage has been paid by "Mr Chisholm of NewYork" He has not been to USA before

1919 Nov 12. Temp. Lt: D.Warrior relinquishes his commission on completion of service, and retains the rank of Lt.

1919 Dec 2. departs on Vasari for New York. His occupation is "Secretary", he is travelling 1st class and intends to settle in the USA. No wife is listed though a Rita Jobling, spinster, has the next ticket number.

1919 Dec 19. Arrive in New York. He gives his last address as his father's at D Warrior, 5 Lillington St, London. He says that he has been in the USA before 1910/1915 and intends to stay with a friend H J Chisholm at 200 Fifth Avenue, New York. He says that he intends to stay permanently in USA.

1920 USA census gives him as the Head Butler of Hugh Chisholm, living at 635 Park Lane, New York. He says he first emigrated to USA in 1910

1920 Sep 15. Married in New York to Helen Webster

1920 Sep 27 Arrives in Southampton from New York on the Aquitania. He is a "courier" age 46, traveling with his wife Helen (age 26). They are travelling 2nd class and their last country of permanent residence was USA
