1916 Jun 7. The undermentioned 2nd Lieut. on probation are confirmed in their rank: β€” R Ir Fus. 2nd Lt. F. C. Bernard (Spec. Res.).

1934 Sep 20. He and wife Freida leave UK for Gibraltar. They have a Rickmansworth address.

1934 Oct 19 Arrives in UK from Gibraltar with his wife Frieda. They travel 1st class.

1959 Aug 10. Died Gloucestershire aged 73 This may not be him, but widow's name is correct, even though his 2nd name is given as Cecil not Cyril ( Francis Cecil Bernard). And in fact the burial record shows him as Francis Cyril Bernard.
