1918 May. Something seems to have happened at this point as the RAF are deciding whether to transfer him to Pat Duties or not. A few weeks later he is transferred to R Sussex Regt

1920 Nov 30 There is an inquiry about the offering of a revolver for sale. Earle was issued with a revolver that by the 5th Nov was being offered to the IRA by Constable Biddle of the RIC. Oddly Earle does not appear to give evidence at this inquiry

1921 Feb 16 Resigned from ADRIC. The record says "Permitted to resign" It seems as if it was not the loss of the revolver, but his upcoming trial for theft that caused this.

1921 Sep 1 Released from gaol

1921 Nov 15. Relinquishes his commission . R. Sussex R. Temp. 2nd Lts., and retain the rank of 2nd Lt.:— A. G. Earle

1928 Jul 12. His father died, and obit says one of his two sons was in Australia (this was William John Earle) . Though one of the mouners at the funeral was "Capt A G Earle DFC, son" - he seems to have promoted himself and added a decoration.

1954 Mar 14 Died Liverpool from Ancestry tree This I do not think is correct. That man can be traced through his life in Liverpool, and is not our man
