Capt Thomas Hutton M.C., West Riding Regt

This appears to be the man, in that the 1911 census has him in Yorkshire Regt.. His grandparents came from Yorkshire. I can tie him to Channel Islands as on MIC from RIC note, my assumption is that he married there while on duty, and his wife lived there. I cannot get his actual MC citation

1901 census . I cannot find him, he was in the army

1911 census at B Company 1st Bn Yorkshire Regiment, British Barracks, Khartoum, Sudan. Gives him born Walworth, London. Lance Corporal

1914 Oct 10. Landed in France with 4/Yorks Regt

1914 Oct 16 commissioned

1915 Apr 19. The Duke of Wellington's (West Riding Regiment). The undermentioned Second Lieutenants to be Lieutenants: — T. Hutton.

1915 Jun 23. Gazetted MC. The Duke of Wellington's (West Riding Regiment). Awarded the Military Cross. Second Lieutenant T. Hutton
