This appears to be the man, in that the 1911 census has him in Yorkshire Regt.. His grandparents came from Yorkshire. I can tie him to Channel Islands as on MIC from RIC note, my assumption is that he married there while on duty, and his wife lived there. I cannot get his actual MC citation
