He married three times in quick sucession from 1922, 1926 & 1927. I can find no record of the death of any of these women
1892 Apr 18 Born Portscatho, Cornwall. He was the son of James Truran, a Carpenter & Joiner and his wife Elizabeth.

1915 Sep 1. The Essex Regiment. Private James Leonard Truran, from The London Regiment (Queen Victoria's Rifles), to be Second Lieutenant.
1917 Jul 1. Essex Regt. The undermentioned 2nd Lts. to be Lts. J L Truran
1917 Sep 3. Middlesex Regt.—2nd Lt. J. L. Truran (Essex Regt.) to be actg. Capt. whilst comdg. a Coy.
1921 Mar 3. Joins ADRIC with service no 1772 Posted to J Coy
1921 Dec 15 Relinquishes his commission 7th Essex Regt and is granted rank of Lt
1921 Apr 13. to 10 May 1921 Medical leave
1921 Sep 30 "discharged the ADRIC on medical grounds, due to service in the RIC" However this appears to have been cancelled as he is down for leave through Dec 1921
1922 Jan He appears to have served until demobilisation of ADRIC
1922 Apr 4. Married Helen May Williams in Dublin. She is the daughter of T/Cadet G H Williams
1924 Feb. His family know that he transferred from the ADRIC to the USC where he served until Feb 1924. The photo above shows him there in May 1922. He was dismissed ("per S/622 of 25 2 24" - following the trial).
1924 Feb 22. 6 month gaol sentence, suspended.
1924 Aug 24 Fined for travelling without a ticket.
1926 Feb 7. Marries Elsie Mabel Fox in Liverpool
1927 Oct 27. He marries again to Olive Ivy Harfield in Barnsley
1939 Jun 4. A newspaper advert from someone looking for James Leonard Truran last heard of 4 years ago in Clacton-on-Sea
1970 Died aged 78
