1914 Dec. Applied for a commission Frank Bertram Williams, Penarth, serving in 2nd Welsh Ammunition Column, It appears to have taken till 1917 to get his commission

1915 Dec 1 Shrapnel wound to right leg

1917 Apr 8. RFA. The undermentioned cadets to be 2nd Lts. Frank Bertram Williams.

1919 Apr 3 Demobbed

1920 Aug 3 Joined ADRIC with service no. 78. Posted to Depot Coy
