Lt Sydney George Williams, RAF


When he gave evidence at a compensation case he is given as Sydney George Williams. And indeed I can get a MIC for him as an RAF officer, but I cannot get much further as the RAF officers file carrys very little information on him. A note says he has no connection with the other SG Williams

1918 Mar 9. Commissioned to RFC General List from Devon Regt. Commission as Sydney George Williams

1918 Apr 2. Promoted Lt

1921 Feb 16. Joined ADRIC with service no 1691. Posted to A Coy

1921 Apr 21. He was a witness when this car fell into a blown up bridge. F.White was awarded £6000 damages and M McLeod was awarded £750 compensation
