1919 Nov 23. A marriage that never took place. Alice Caroline Rose Sewell was never married to Charles Albert Edward Baker, but they were betrothed. Their marriage banns were published on 23 November, 1919. Sadly, she died on 15 December, 1919. The family story is that Alice was buried in her wedding dress.
