Seems very old! Certainly that is his recorded dob

1950 Mar 2. the only death of a Bartley Curtin in GRO would have him born circa 1861, There is a Bartley Curtin in Kinvarra in 1901 and 1911 censuses, with his dob about 1858 and is probably the same man, Working back he was probably born 1859 and that the Temp ADRIC constable is this man born 11 Dec 1859
It also seems the same man who joined Connaught Rangers Militia 26 Aug 1892 and separately 18 Jan 1899. He had previously been in Army and left time expired, He left militia 5 Jun 1899, permanently unfit. The Militia attestation would give a dob of Jan 1861
