1889 His parents married. His father used Taylor up to about this date, then appears to have changed to Tait. Kate died in 1903 as Kate Tatlor, but the children are a mishmash of Taits and Taylors. The father ernest William appears to have used Tait rather than Taylor after about 1898. I cannt find out why
